323 Ship Welders – 111/136

Location: Papendrecht, The Netherlands.

Job description:

• Arc welding with coated electrode (SMAW / 111);
• MAG (FCAW 136).
• Blunt connections (butt weld): PA (1G), PC (2G), PE (4G) and PF (3G);
• Angle connections (fillet weld): PA (1F), PB (2F), PD (4F) and PF (3F);
• Reading drawings, welding instructions and viewing the situation to gain insight into the shape and dimensions of the seams and the desired quality;
• Check the workpiece if the pre-treatment is satisfactory as indicated on the drawing with regard to shape, dimensions and cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Ability to start working as soon as possible;
• Similar work experience at least 3-5 years;
• Communicative English language skills;
• Motivated and diligent worker;

• Ability to work independently and quickly absorb innovation;
• Ability to independently read drawings;

• Own work shoes, helmet, glasses;
• Driver's license - category B;
• Own car is advantageous;
• Qualification certificates – 111 and 136;
• VCA certificate is advantageous;
