German/ Swedish Speaking Junior UK Business Consultant (Business Development)

Our client is a fast-growing, award-winning language management company (featuring in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100), supplying translation, interpreting and other language services to a wide range of clients around the globe.

We are looking for candidates for the position ofGerman/ Swedish Speaking Junior UK Business Consultant (Business Development).

This is a London (UK)-based role, focusing on growing the existing client portfolio. You will work by phone and if successful you will quickly have the opportunity to develop into field sales, together with international travel if that is of interest. You will be supported by the marketing team and the existing sales team.

Responsibilities will include:

* Making telephone sales calls to existing and new customers
* Discussing costs and quoting decisions with your Sales Manager
* Preparing proposals
* Creating marketing campaigns (e-mail shots, physical mail shots etc.)
* Using your initiative and creativity to identify opportunities for new key accounts

Skills and Experience:

Essential:
* Fluent English.
* Fluency in either German and/or Swedish.
* Proven experience of working in a sales environment.
* Experience with cold calling.
* Strong client relationship building skills.
* Hard-working and self-motivated.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Enjoying making money!

Beneficial:
* Experience from within the language sector.
