Design Engineer Process

A Dutch division of a multinational company, with 2010 revenues of nearly $10 billion, being one of the world's largest and most diverse providers of technical, professional, and construction services is currently seeking: Design Engineer Process The perfect candidate participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design. Primary responsibilities:• Implementation, modifications and maintenance of chemical processes. • Calculations and organization of data for process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations. • Development of process flow diagrams to define heat and material balance. • Development of specifications for distillation columns, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors and fired heaters. • Participation in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. • Direction of activities to ensure that construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. • Maintenance of effective communication with project team members and with the customer.
