Design Engineer Instrumentation

A Dutch division of a multinational company, with 2010 revenues of nearly $10 billion, being one of the world's largest and most diverse providers of technical, professional, and construction services is currently seeking:Design Engineer Instrumentation To conduct research, development, design and test of instrumentation, control systems (DCS) and safe guarding systems for commercial and industrial purposes. Primary responsibilities:• Development of conceptual design, basic and detail design calculations based on process data. • Development of specifications (datasheets) for instrumentation and control systems and equipment. • Preparation of requisitions for inquiry and performing of bid evaluations • Participation in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. • Direction of activities to ensure that construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. • Maintenance of effective communication with project team members and with the customer.
