Due to continued expansion of our business, we are looking for experienced self-motivated candidates to fill the following position:

Regional Service Engineer

The 1st class Regional Service Engineer is responsible to perform a successful service support function, driving customer satisfaction, towards regional service operations for the heavy machinery equipment, primarily towards the growing dealer network and company customers in the French and Belgium markets. This position directly reports to the European Service Manager and the person could either be based at the European Headquarters in Almere or working from an alternative location in France/Belgium.

Place of work: Almere or any alternative location in France/Belgium

As a Regional Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

- Provide second line service support for technical field problems on new and used equipment,

- Secure overall regional after sales support function[parts, service, warranty & training] is performing up to the business requirements,

- Pre-validate and audit regional warranty claims submitted by the regional service operation and timely process these claims towards the factories,

- Provide technical training towards the regional service trainers, service engineers and mechanics,

- Manage timely Service Campaign execution work based upon announced quality improvement & safety bulletins from the factories,

- Define and manage the regional warranty conditions on new equipment,

- Carry out and control Pre-Delivery-Inspection(PDI) and commissioning of the new equipment,

- Coordinate technical information’s and communications among the regional dealers, customers and Headquarters and Factories,

- Co-ordinate distribution of available service ‘’soft-tools’’ deliverables, like repair and maintenance manuals, workshop manuals, electric schematics or troubleshoot diagrams

- Manage field product reports[FPR] and interact with Quality Department and Engineering of the factories.

What skills and experience you need:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering a pre,

- Min. 2 years and continually experience in similar industry,

- Experience of servicing all general heavy machinery equipment with a good standard of knowledge of the construction machinery or similar industry

- Good French knowledge & Communicative English skills,

- Quality / improvement skills - problems solving, technical and procedure Improvement,

- Domain Knowledge – maintain all service & warranty records. Willing to initiate change, make personal sacrifices and push hard to achieve exceptional outcomes,

- Knowledge of construction equipment engineering and/or equivalent products in other industries

- Strong communication and technical skills,

- Ability to interpret technical specifications,

- Analytical skills

- Independence and timeliness,

- Ability to solve problems and work in face of frequent changes,

- Drive for excellence, positive attitude and be a team player,

- Able to work with various IT-software systems [MS Office, claim systems, cloud-based communications system, etc],

- Full driving license.
