Packer/ Production Operative

Job Term; Temporary on going. Might become permanent for the right person.

Location; Buxton

Remuneration; £7.20 - £10.80 p/h, after 12 weeks of work SA & Overtime will apply.

Working hours; 6:00 – 14:00, 7:00 – 15:00. 8hr and 10 hr shifts available. During busy

periods also 14:00 – 22:00 & 6:00 – 18:00. 8 – 40hrs available a week.

their client Bradbury & Son based in Buxton. This highly regarded business is specialising in

selection and packaging of speciality cheeses across the whole UK and Europe. They pride

We are currently looking for Packers/ Production Operatives to join this fantastic working

environment. This opportunity for someone enjoys production work and is looking for a new

challenge as well as wishing to enhance their skills.

We provide full induction ahead of the start day, this includes Manual Handling, Health &

Safety and Food Hygiene training. There are also further apprenticeship courses available

for long term workers.

The job purpose is to;

 Be fully involved in the packaging process and ensure high quality at all times,

 Cut, pack and wrap food products within timely manner,

 Operate machinery,

 Label and stack pallets,

 Clean the production area when needed,

 Adhere to all H&S as well as Food Hygiene procedures,

 Conduct other duties as in when required by the Manager.

The candidate;

 Preferably will have previous experience in a similar role, however full training will be

provided,

 Must be able to multi-skill, be flexible, hardworking and have attention to detail,

 Must be able to work on all available shifts,

 Must be able to maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

 Able to work on their own initiative and follow instructions.
