Job Title: Warehouse Operatives to work as Merchandisers

Full Time Hours: Must be prepared to work and stay away from home. Ideally you should be able to

drive due to location of sites.

Rate: Starting rate is £6.75 and depending on experience (£7.25ph for those 25yrs and over), the

hourly rate can increase to £8.00ph

Working Hours: 40-60 hours per week

My client is currently looking for passionate individuals with the right attitude and flexibility to join

their merchandising teams within various retail stores/retail sectors, offering a range of solutions to

support new store openings, refits, range and product reviews and general store support.

Working as part of their merchandising teams locally and across the UK, your role will be to deliver

excellent merchandising standards within a retail environment, providing a friendly, efficient and

reliable service to their valued clients.

Experience using planograms, merchandising and working within a retail environment is desirable

but not essential as full training will be provided. A warehouse background is also desirable. On-

going training and development will be identified and provided with possible progression

opportunities.

An example of a merchandising role: taking off labels from displays and replacing them, working on

the shop floor and organising display/shop layout/ presentation. Precision is key and good attention

to detail is a must!

Main Responsibilities:

 Merchandise and replenish using planograms in the timescales set by Team Leaders.

 Profiling and general cleaning of shelving and equipment.

 Use initiatives to problem solve and suggest resolutions when encountering barriers.

 Display excellent communication skills and be a self-motivated team player.

 Manual Handling

Additional Information:

 Full time hours available. Shifts can be as long as 12 hours.

 Work is on a project basis. This could consist of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

 Flexibility towards working patterns, shifts and locations is essential.

 Accommodation will be provided when working away from home on a twin room shared,

B&B basis.

 You must be prepared to work and stay away from home.

 A full / valid, UK or EU driving licence and own vehicle is advantageous.

 Car mileage is paid at 0.25p per mile.
