Tasks:

Interdisciplinary collaboration

To care and prepare the patients for- and during consultation and treatments

Inform the patient carefully through the process

General nursing tasks such as catheterisation, check-ups, pre- and post-operative care as well as teaching patients regarding their condition

Communicate with the next-of-kin/family of the patient

Chemotherapy

Qualifications:

Authorisation as a nurse in an EU-country

Work experience as a nurse

Specialisation as an oncological nurse

Experience from hospitals and community care is preferred

Basic computer knowledge

English language skills, both oral and written

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)

Driver’s license is sometimes required

Personal characteristics:

Good communication skills

Responsible and structured

Engaged, flexible and work well with stressful situations

You can handle a broad variety of patients and have respect for the individual patient and their needs

You are independent but work well in teams

You are very keen on moving to Scandinavia with your family to work

Personal suitability for the position will be emphasised

You are aware of your responsibilities and know your limits
