SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER 

Responsibilities:

• Undertake detailed engineering design
• Preparing technical schedules, engineering calculations, reports, designs and sketches at a variety of project work stages
• Representing the company at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers
• Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met
• Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and within budget
• Attending weekly management meetings and ensuring all health & safety standards are adhered to
• Managing the production of drawings and reports and preparing coordinating structural specifications
• Coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Extensive experience of structural engineering design
• Ability to accept a degree of responsibility in a team-based organisation, combined with the ability to work independently
• 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
• Developed leadership and management skills
• Experience in Hevacomp, AutoCAD and MS Office Suite Software
• Knowledge and experience of current CIBSE an ASHRAE Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN Standards and IEC Standards
