As a result of expansion plans there are several software development roles available ranging from junior to senior level.

At the heart of our Client’s software are some unique components including configuration engine and version-controlled database (based on SQL Server).

The Company is predominantly .NET focused and 70% of the software you will be working on will be written in C#.

They have a mature development and continuous integration infrastructure, including git,GitHub, TeamCity, Jira and their own NuGet server. They have continuous branch building and their release creation process is a one click process.

Our Client’s company is an Agile organisation and the development teams usually use Scrum, but they are not dogmatic in this choice of methodology or approach.

Knowledge gathering and sharing is an important part of their culture and they have regular tech sessions to demonstrate new technologies and talk about best practices, as well as ad-hoc meetings to talk code and solve problems together.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- Must have a background in coding in C# and .NET

- Some experience in JavaScript and/or SQL coding is also required

- Pragmatic and comfortable in a fast paced delivery environment

- Desire and passion to solve complex problems

- Desire to work with current web development technologies

- AngularJS, MVC and jQuery, SignalR, SQL, T-SQL and SQL Server, HTML and CSS, Agile, Scrum and React experience would be useful but not required as long as you are prepared to learn what you need to do the job

- Customer facing skills would be advantageous in order to carry out gap analysis and understand client’s requirements

- Enthusiasm and desire to share knowledge and skills with team
