For our Client we are seeking for candidates for the position:

Construction Manager

Requirements:

·        experience in building bridges, roads and tunnels in Scandinavia

·        experience working with those subcontractors: Statensvegwesen or Jernbahnverket,

·        fluent English, Norwegian, or other Scandinavian language

·        knowledge of method statements, samhandlingsphase, what are the procedures in procurement,

·        performance of the works in accordance with the Contract condition, design, technical knowledge and time schedule on the part of the activities,

Position Summary:

·        performance of the works in accordance with the Contract condition, design, technical knowledge and time schedule

·        organization and coordination of the works on the site

·        preparation plan of the site installation

·        preparation of working shifts plan

·        preparation and updating general time schedule of the works

·        preparation of list necessary resources and equipments

·        participation in negotiation with sub-contractors

·        technical supervision and coordination of the sub-contracted works

·        carry on logbook and photo documentation of the works

·        participation in technical and coordination meetings organized by the Client

·        checking documents in eRoom, especially revision of working drawings, minutes of meetings (Arbeidsmøte) and the Client notifications/orders (Kontrollørmelding)

·        preparing technical input to answer the Client notifications/orders

·        analyzing impact of revision of drawings, technical clarification (TA) and change orders (KOE) to progress of the works

·        reporting to Project Managements any deviations in works execution, especially in ground condition

·        ordering small things till 10.000 NOK

·        realization other tasks assigned by the Project Managements
